COVID-19 Update
During the extraordinary circumstances that we all face in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, you can be assured that The Retina Partners are dedicated to maintaining a safe and clean environment in our clinics. While we have remained open for urgent and emergent retinal needs throughout this pandemic, we are now transitioning to the resumption of routine care. As we do so, we have implemented changes to our clinic to optimize your safety. Here is what to expect:
General Office Precautions: In the interest of your safety and that of our entire staff, please know that we have all been fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. You can expect that your doctor and all staff members you encounter will be wearing a mask and gloves during your encounter. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the office, for both staff and patients. Social distancing, where possible, and other appropriate precautions are recommended for everyone and still in effect here in the office.
Masks: As of June 15, 2021, The California Department of Public Health is still requiring masks to be worn in all Healthcare Settings. All staff members and patients will be required to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. For more information from the California Department of Public Health please visit their website.
Sterilization of rooms: All rooms and equipment will be sanitized after each patient visit with chemical cleaners which are proven to kill viruses and bacteria. You may be asked to wait for a few minutes while we clean and prepare a room for you. If this is the case, a staff member will direct you to a specific chair to optimize distance from others.
Waiting Room: Due to our waiting room distance requirements, our waiting rooms still have limited seating for patients. We will maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet between patients while you wait. Therefore, we ask that companions please wait outside of the waiting rooms until the patient is called into an exam room where we can seat you.
If the patient requires additional assistance for mobility or translation, please let the front desk staff know. We recognize that this is a stressful time for everyone. We promise to do everything in our power to make your visit with us as safe as possible. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
The Retina Partners
